RECITAL INFORMATION

Sunday, December 6th

In order to keep wait times low and organized, our young dancers and recreational dancers will participate in their own Winter Showcase, rather than in The Nutcracker. 
Dress Rehearsal will be held that morning, before the recital.

The Winter Showcase will be held at The Berman on Sunday, December 6th from 10:30am-11:30am.

Dress Rehearsal Schedule: 
9:00: Hip hop (all), contemporary, tap and toes II, latin dance
9:20: Princess ballet (all) and tap and toes I 

 

9:10-9:15: Latin Dance
9:15-9:20: Hip Hop I 
9:20-9:25: Hip Hop II 
9:25-9:30: Beginning contemporary 
9:30-9:35: Tap and Toes II 
9:35-9:40: Princess ballet Monday 
9:40-9:45: Princess ballet Saturday 
9:45-9:50: Princess ballet Saturday 
9:50-9:55: Princess ballet Friday 
9:55-10:00: Tap and Toes I 

What to Bring?

A hearty and non-messy snack, water bottle, and something to do. The dancers will be busy, but coloring pages or little toys may be a good idea for students who need something fun to focus on while they wait. 

 

Ticket Costs

In order to pay for staff, technical crew and capabilities, and the venue itself, tickets are required to attend the show. The total charge for tickets will be $19. $15 is the ticket price, but the venue charges a $4 processing fee. 

If sharing a seat with a young child (3 and under), an additional ticket is not required. However, if a child requires their own seat, they must have their own ticket.

B: Tap and Toes I + II
C: Princess Ballet Monday + Friday
D: Princess Ballet Saturday (both)
Banquet Hall: Hip Hop I and II, Ayumi Hip Hop

Costume Requirements


ALL ballet:  ballet pink tights and ballet shoes. 
All tap and toes: black tap shoes and pink tights. 
ALL Hip Hop Classes: Black tennis shoes/sneakers (example here).
Contemporary: Nude half shoes (example here) and nude stirrup tights.

Hair Requirements
All ballet classes, contemporary, and tap and toes: Medium/high bun (tutorial here)
Hip Hop: Hair ponytail with no part
All hairpieces for ballet will go on the front, right side of the bun.

Makeup
For girls and boys: blush or bronzer to highlight cheeks
Girls: Natural eyeshadow (browns and/or pinks), pink/light red lipstick
Optional: mascara, foundation, hair sparkles
