New!! Beginning January 2026
Ballet Program
This ballet-centric program is designed for the dancer who wants to take their training up a notch. This program will take place in the Allongé Danceworks studio (28265 Beck Rd C15, Wixom, MI 48393), in our new studio with professional sprung flooring to protect our dancers' joint health.
All classes participate in our two annual recitals. The Nutcracker is held every December, while our Spring show alternates between a classical ballet and a spring concert.
Our older students may also choose to compete in International Competitions, such as YAGP and UBC, as well as local competitions and galas, such as Michigan Ballet Festival.
Level Placement is subject to change and up to instructors' discretion.

Supplementary Courses
Conditioning/Stretch: This 30 minute long class is packed full of an effective blend of passive and active stretching, to help the dancer gain both flexibility and strength.

Contemporary: Contemporary dance is becoming more and more important for young dancers. It helps them become versatile and more ready for wherever their dance journey takes them!
Acro for Dancers: This new class will teach beginning elements of acro, including back-bends, forward and backward rolls, hand and headstands, and working up to walkovers and other flexibility oriented acro steps.
Character: Character is folk dancing from various cultural backgrounds. Many Character steps are found in classical ballets, and a background in Character dance improves a dancers' artistry, performance quality, stamina, and technique.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe: Instructor Approval only! Pre-Pointe is open to any dancer in Ballet III and beyond.
