Pas De Deux Workshop:

June 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. 

Pointe Proficiency Required. 

5:00-6:30: Technique from Miss Chelsea

6:30-8:00: Pas De Deux from Miss Michelle + Mr Simon

$75 per day or $300 for full session.

Pre-Competition Intensive:

June 15th-17th: 5:00-8:00

Recommended to students considering Michigan Ballet Festival or CCA in 2027.

Required for WBAC and YAGP participants. 
This is a great chance to try out new variations for the year ahead! 
Classes include: classical variations, pointe, ballet technique, intro to acting for dancers, acro for dancers.

Summer Intensive with Samantha Shelton:

M-Th: 1:00-5:00pm, F: 3:30-6:30 with Showcase at 6:00pm.

Samantha received her professional training at the Joffrey Ballet in New York, with Rose Marie Floyd in Michigan, and in London with Anita Young of the Royal Ballet. She also studied at the Cecchetti International program in England.

She serves on the ABT Board of Examiners, traveling nationwide to examine for the ABT National Training Curriculum and teach master classes. For more than twenty years, Samantha has been on faculty for the ABT Summer Intensives, setting repertoire and choreographing new works for performances in New York, Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Detroit.

Her choreography and teaching credits include Houston Ballet, Walnut Hill School, Interlochen Arts Academy, Missouri Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Tennessee, and universities across the U.S. and Taiwan. She has also taught company class for Complexions, Ballet Hispánico, and Grand Rapids Ballet.

As a performer, Samantha danced both classical and contemporary roles, including Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Giselle, and Raymonda, partnering with notable artists such as Craig Salstein (ABT), Arch Higgins (NYCB), and Christopher Stowell (San Francisco Ballet).

She holds an MFA in Dance and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan, and is certified in the ABT National Training Curriculum.

June 17th: 8:00-8:45
Must be able to attend WBAC Detroit in October, CCA in February, MBF in February, and YAGP Indianapolis (or whichever travel competition is selected by Director + parents) in March.

Rehearsal Schedule TBD based on selected group's availability.

Costume fee ($75 maximum) and rehearsal fee ($10 per 1-hour)
No choreography fee or additional coaching fee for competition travel, registration fees will be equally split by participants.
